Officials involved in the rescue operation said that the accident took place in Kund Park area of ​​Nowshera district, where a large number of people had gathered to celebrate Eid.

Regarding the boat accident in the Indus River, officials said that they have rescued 11 people and the search is on for four missing people. According to officials, rescue teams from Nowshera, Swabi and Mardan are taking part in the search operation. Divers are also busy searching for people.

Earlier, a road accident had occurred near the border town in Sindh and Balochistan province of Pakistan. The accident occurred when a bus full of pilgrims fell into a deep valley. At least 17 people have died and 38 people have been injured in this accident. The bus fell into a ditch when the pilgrims were on their way to the remote Muslim Sufi shrine of Shah Noorani in Khuzdar district of Balochistan.
